Editorial standards
How KÂMO writes and checks its property guides and market pages: where figures come from, what we will not publish, how images are labelled and how to report a correction.
Who writes what you read
Guides, market pages and insights are written and reviewed by KÂMO Property Group. Insight articles carry a named author with a team page. KÂMO is a property advisory: we are not a law firm, lender, tax adviser or immigration adviser, and nothing we publish replaces that advice. Where a decision needs a qualified specialist, the page says so.
Where figures come from
Market statistics are attributed to the public source they come from. Project facts are checked against material the developer has published, and a page that relies on that material states when it was reviewed. Where a figure was reported by others rather than published by the developer, we say so and give the month it was retrieved.
What we will not publish
We do not estimate prices, yields, fees, thresholds or timescales that we cannot source. On regulated topics — financing, purchase costs and residency — we explain how the process works but publish no rates, because a rate without your circumstances misleads more than it helps. We do not describe returns as guaranteed.
Prices are dated, not refreshed
A price on this site belongs to the date it was gathered. When newer official material replaces older market reporting, the earlier figures move to a clearly dated archive rather than being silently updated. For an off-plan resale we show the total purchase price alongside the cash due at assignment and the remaining developer instalments. A current decision needs a written, dated offer for the exact home.
Images are labelled for what they are
We never present a render, illustration or generated image as a photograph. Developer visuals are labelled as developer material and credited, and a design illustration is not offered as evidence that a building or facility is complete. Photographs of listed homes carry a KÂMO watermark; destination and editorial imagery does not.
Precise names
Similar names often describe different things, and a shortlist built on the wrong one is wrong from the start. Soma Bay, two words, is the place; Somabay, one word, is the developer and its master development. Projects sharing a brand on different coasts are treated as separate destinations. We keep the full developer, destination and collection name on every comparison.
Our interest
KÂMO is a commercial advisory, and some developments we write about are ones we advise on. Our guides compare the wider market, including developments we have no relationship with, and each check we describe ends with what it does not prove.
Corrections
If you find an error, email hello@kamoproperty.com with the page address and what you believe is wrong. We check it against the source, correct the page where we were wrong and record the new review date. Issues of The KÂMO Ledger are a fixed record and are not edited after publication.
